This placement requires BOTH a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) AND a Child Abuse Registry Check.

During your placement meeting with us, we will give you a form. This form will waive the $25 fee associated with getting a Vulnerable Sector Check done by the RCMP.

There are 2 ways to complete the VSC check once you receive the form from us.

You can either bring your form and come to our office CO374 on Wednesday, January 14^th from 1:30p.m.-3:30p.m. and fill it out here

OR

You can bring your form to the RCMP station located at 4 Fairview Street and fill it out there. The RCMP station is open Monday through Friday daily from 8:30a.m.- 4:00p.m.

Either way you choose, you will need two pieces of valid ID to complete your VSC paperwork. (Health card and StFX student ID count.)

The final day to submit a police check to be eligible for this Service Learning placement will be Wednesday, January 21^st at 4:00p.m. any checks submitted after this day may not be accepted.

(Placement success after this date may become subject to penalty.)

You will receive confirmation back that your name is not on the list via email after you fill out the form from the above link, which you will then forward to your Community Partner on the first day of your placement.
