Take Back the Night's Global mission is to end sexual violence in all forms, including sexual assault, sexual abuse, trafficking, stalking, gender harassment, and relationship violence, and to support survivors in their healing journeys. We foster safe communities through international events and initiatives. Take Back The Night Events unite people from every background, belief, and culture around the world to take a visible and vocal stand.
Students will meet in the Bloomfield Hub and create signs for the participants to carry throughout the March and rally. At 5:00pm, students will go to the Coady Gardens to hand out the signs to particpants in the rally and March. Once that is completed, students will join the main event for the rest of the evening.
This is a public event and students are welcome and encouraged to bring friends and family.
Please look for the Service Learning Student Leader (They will have a sign) and check in with them to record your attendance. This event is mainly outdoors, so please dress for the weather, and for walking.
