Students will help with Homecoming events such as the 5K fun run, dodgeball tournament and organized games.
A mandatory pre-event meeting will take place on October 14th for anyone signing up for this event. Gerry Balcom from the recreation department will coordinate the time and location with you via your StFX email.
MANDATORY: Students must first meet with Student Leader, Kaylee Cox or Ethan Copp on the STFX track for attendance, before starting the event.
Expectations of Service Learning Students:
- Students must arrive on time.
- Students must dress appropriately. (No inappropriate amount of skin or inappropriate slogans) Appropriate footwear is also required.
- “No scents is good sense”. Please do not wear scented products to your placement.
- Electronic devices are not permitted for personal use while working at your placement.
- If you are sick and contagious, please STAY HOME.
- Please contact your site supervisor and your Student Leader of any and all absences.
Registration for one-time events begins Wednesday Sept 13th at noon and the deadline is Wednesday Sept 20th at noon.
